ABOUT ME
Trevor Gomes BEM BCAe is an award-winning social entrepreneur, mentor & coach with a deep commitment to supporting young people to thrive — especially those who are too often overlooked by the system.
As the Founder & CEO of RISE Coaching & Mentoring (RCM), Trevor works closely with local authorities and councils across the UK to design and deliver mentoring and coaching programmes for young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), those at risk of disengaging from education, and young people known to Youth Justice Services. His work focuses on early intervention, prevention strategies, and practical support that helps young people rebuild confidence, purpose, and direction.

Through RISE, Trevor also founded the ELEVATE Youth Mentoring Programme, a social enterprise supporting young people from underserved and SEND communities. ELEVATE provides tailored mentoring that meets young people where they are — helping them navigate education, employment, and life with the right guidance around them. ELEVATE has supported over 25k young people across the UK.
Beyond the UK, Trevor extends this mission internationally through education partnerships in Uganda, supporting access to school meals, digital learning, regenerative farming training, and sustainable food storage solutions. This global work reflects his belief that education, when done right, can be a powerful driver of equity and long-term change.
